We’ve always believed that improving at golf is about more than what happens on the simulator. The swing you bring to Sigmoid Golf is built on the body you bring with it – and for a lot of golfers, that body is carrying tightness, imbalances, or old injuries.

That’s why we’re delighted to welcome Aisling Frawley to Sigmoid HQ bringing her sports physiotherapy expertise to our indoor golf space and making it easier for our members and regulars to access her services on-site.

Who Is Aisling?

Aisling is a Chartered Physiotherapist with a background in musculoskeletal and sports physiotherapy, including extensive experience working with sports teams and active individuals.

Her approach focuses on guiding clients towards sustainable, long-term movement and wellbeing. Golf is a technically complex rotational sport, placing unique physical demands on the body. Aisling can help you understand, manage and optimise your physical performance to meet the demands of your game.

Why a Sports Physio at a Golf Simulator?

The golf swing places significant demands on the body – particularly the lower back, hips, shoulders, and wrists. Most club golfers play through low-level discomfort without ever addressing it, which leads to compensatory movement patterns that quietly undermine their swing mechanics.

Having a sports physio on site at the indoor golf studio in Sandyford means that for the first time, members and visitors to Sigmoid HQ can address the physical side of their game in the same building as their golf simulator practice and PGA coaching. Assessment, treatment, and practice – all under one roof.

It’s a significant step toward making Sigmoid HQ, Sandyford a genuine golf performance hub – not just a place to hit balls, but a place to genuinely get better.

What Can You Be Seen For?

Aisling can help with a wide range of golf-related and general sports physical complaints, including:

  • Lower back pain – one of the most common complaints among regular golfers, and one of the most addressable with the right assessment and treatment plan.
  • Shoulder and rotator cuff issues – particularly relevant for players who experience pain or restriction through the backswing.
  • Hip tightness and mobility restrictions – a frequent contributor to poor rotation and early extension in the downswing.
  • Wrist and elbow injuries – including golfer’s elbow, which affects more club golfers than most people realise.
  • Sports massage – ideal for relieving muscular tension, improving mobility and helping the body recover between rounds, training sessions or competitions.
  • General movement screening – a proactive assessment to identify physical limitations before they become injuries or swing faults on the TrackMan Golf Simulator.
