Introduction
Golf has a reputation problem when it comes to welcoming new players – and women in particular. Stuffy clubhouses, unwritten rules, and an atmosphere that can feel more exclusive than inviting. At Sigmoid Golf, we’ve built something deliberately different: Sigmoid Girls Golf Club – a community for women who want to play, improve, and connect, on their own terms.
Whether you’ve never picked up a club or you’ve been playing for years and want a more social outlet, here’s everything you need to know about SGGC – including the Summer Series that’s already underway.
What Is Sigmoid Girls Golf Club?
Sigmoid Girls Golf Club (SGGC) – is Sigmoid Golf’s community for women golfers in Dublin. It runs across both our Sandyford and Charlemont Square locations and spans a calendar of events, casual sessions, and coaching programmes throughout the year.
It’s not a competitive club in the traditional sense. It’s a space where women can play indoor golf in Dublin comfortably, meet others who enjoy the game, and improve at whatever pace suits them.
The SGGC Summer Series
This summer, SGGC launched its Summer Series – a run of themed events designed to bring the community together, build confidence on the simulator, and have a bit of fun along the way. Here’s what we’ve been up to so far, and what’s still to come.
Event 1: Mobility Stack
Date: May 29th
What happened: An evening combining a reformer and mat pilates session, with Club Pilates, before an hour of golf and games on our TrackMan simulators under the guidance of PGA Professional David Kearney.
Great fun was had by all who attended and each girl who came left with a goodie bag from Supernature Snacks!

Event 2: Breathe & Tee
Date: July 18th
What happened: A brilliant start to a Saturday morning, kicking things off at Sigmoid Golf for a casual indoor golf session followed by a coffee break and a chance to socialise with the other attendees before winding down with a breathwork session led by Yoga Dublin.
Each attendee enjoyed a free breakfast of overnight oats, courtesy of GOATS and a Sigmoid Golf coffee card with a 15% discount and left with samples from our sponsor Revive Active.

What’s Coming Up
The Summer Series isn’t done yet. Here’s what’s still on the calendar – and why you don’t want to miss it.
Golf & Reformer Social
Date: August 9th
What to expect: SGGC is teaming back up with Club Pilates for a morning of reformer and golf. With gifts from Sláinte Socks and breakfast from GOATS with time for coffee and chats as well.
Swing & Unwind
Date: Late August
What to expect: A golf lesson supervised by one of our PGA professionals, a hot yoga session led by Yoga Dublin with goodies from Vico Naturals and Living Things.
How to book: Details on how to book will be on our Instagram which you can follow here or join our WhatsApp channel to stay up to date
Who Is SGGC For?
SGGC is for any woman in Dublin who is curious about golf, already plays and wants more from it, or simply wants to be part of a social community built around the game. You don’t need to be a member of a golf club. You don’t need your own clubs. You don’t need any experience at all.
Spaces across all SGGC sessions are limited – book early to avoid missing out.
